  1. Not formalised as canon yet, but "Vietnam" has been rendered as {vIyetnam} in the published Worlds of Translation story "Graves". This is from the Vietnamese pronunciation [vîətnāːm], following practical norms demonstrated already by the numerous country names we already have from Marc: which is to say, cleave as closely as possible to the native pronunciation of the most widely-spoken language of the country.
