I can see why you wouldn't want to use {-beH} since food isn't a "device", but if some process is deliberately complete in pursuit of a purpose, you can just use {-meH} and {-ta'}:
{tlhogh tayDaq tlhutlhlu'meH bewSom taS vutlu'ta'}
"The brew [lit. brewing-ingredients solution] has been prepared in order that someone will drink it at the marriage ceremony."
For food and drink, there's the verb **vut**.
