    1. Hmm…except that a hose need not contain specifically water. But I suppose that a hose for other fluids is likewise an {'och(Hom) vaD}. It could also be described with the material it's made out of, like {mep} "plastic".

  1. Most conduits seem to be translated with 'och: plumbing pipe, power conduit, waveform bypass conduit, When the specific word you want isn't there, ask yourself what is the difference between the words that are there, and the ones you want, and see if you can say that. Even in English, sometimes we call hoses lines or conduits. What's the difference to you? If the difference is that "hose" evokes playing in the sprinkler and "conduit" is all technical, then that's a cultural difference. Why is 'och insufficient?

Once I have watered the garden I will coil up the conduit and hang it on a hook.

If context doesn't do it, more words can:
Du' bIQ 'och – garden hose
qul QongmoHwI'pu' bIQ 'och – firehose
betgham Qaybogh 'och – liquid transfer hose
QuQ taQbang 'och – engine exhaust pipe
lay QIbwI' 'och – aircraft air filter line
lay HISmoHwI' 'och – air compressor line
    chungHa'wI' 'och – brake line
Sut QaDmoHwI' jan yIb 'och – dryer vent line

Don't forget to include sample sentences of how you need to use your suggestions.
