  1. courtier apparently means, "a person who attends a royal court as a companion or adviser to the king or queen."

Do Klingons have "royal court"? Do voDleH have an "entourage" or a "retinue"?

A "companion" would be a tlhejwI' and an advisor would be a qeSwI'. We already have "lawyer" as chut qeSwI', so this would be a ta'/voDleH qeSwI'.

I always assume that the people who work closest with the Emperor would be the members of the Emperor's house.

    1. Just like the social milieu surrounding the King of England is different in 2025 and 1625, we'd expect similar variation in Klingon-world. Also, Klingons would need to describe the social worlds of other societies, not just their own.
