I'm hesitant about this one, since I don't like the idea of expanding fear-related vocabulary unnecessarily. However, it seems to me that paranoia is more about mistrust and seeing enemies everywhere than about fear itself, and in fact is probably a healthy instinct for a Klingon leader who could be overthrown at any moment. Writing this comment, I've talked myself into upvoting.
The other issue is that paranoia is a clinical psychological condition, not just a mindset or personality trait.
