A learning disability whose symptoms include the inability to pay attention for prolonged periods of time; hyperactivity; and periods of intense interest in a certain topic (hyperfixations). It is believed that in humans, ADHD evolved as an adaptation to nomadic lifestyles; among Klingons, it may have evolved under the same circumstances.
