qep’a’ vaghDIch

The KLI’s qep'a' vaghDIch, or fifth annual conference, took place July 22nd through 26th, 1998 in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA. Once again, Dr. Marc Okrand joined in. Attendance was a bit smaller than the previous year, but participants made up for it with their volume and enthusiasm. Highlights included impromptu storytelling, with each person composing a quick tale (in Klingon, of course) based on a short phrase. Just an illustration of the creativity of the language and its speakers.
