And yes, I know one can say noDpu'be'bogh nuv "person who has not retaliated" or noDnISwI' "one who needs to retaliate" or some such to describe someone in this state but, c'mon, how likely is it that Klingons wouldn't have a word for this state?
Agreed. For Klingons to lack discrete verbs for their most basic concerns and concepts seems unlikely. {be unavenged} could be expressed in other ways, but the concept is of such importance to Klingon culture, I for one think such a word would be useful.
