I like the idea of having a native name for such a creature, but if we get a word for a hippo-like animal then pu' [hippo] is probably good enough for me.
Andrew: Why "phaser hippo"?
pu' means both phaser and animal horn.
I would probably refer to a unicorn as a (wIch) pu' Sargh (myth(ical)) horn(ed) sark
Huh, that's odd. I can't find pu' in TKD, and it's not up at https://www.kli.org/about-klingon/new-klingon-words/date/ either. When did this word come about?
It was requested by Lieven for his Little Prince translation, though it appears as a morpheme in TKD's DaSpu' boot spike.
If there is no equivelant on Kronos, just call it "ghIno" oder "tera' ghino".
