Er, kind of. In a sentence-as-object construction, the second sentence needs
the {'e'} "previous topic" to serve as an object. (Except {neH} "to want"
requires no {'e'})
Examples:
moH DujlIj 'e' vIHar "I believe your ship is ugly."
Is actually two sentences:
"Your ship is ugly. I believe it."
The second sentence needs the {'e'} to stand for "it".
'Nother one:
chaH lonQo' wo' 'e' luSov 'e' luqotlh 'e' vIHar
"I believe they deserve to know the Empire won't abandon them."
is 4 sentences, and all but one require {'e'}, because they act as the
second sentence in a SAO construction.
Clear as mud? }}: )
Seriously, feel free to ask about this (or anything else, for that matter)
as much as you want. That's what I'm here for.
