adverbials (was: adverbs)

chorgh Hu' lab SuStel:

>Notice that /batlh/ has two listings in TKD: as a noun and as an adverbial.
>/naDev/ has only one (a noun). Whereas /naDev/ is always a noun, /batlh/ is
>either a noun or an adverbial, depending on how you use it.

but the same thing you said about /batlh/ is valid for /naDev/!

so, what's the difference between these two rules (descriptive rules):

1. "/naDev/ is a noun or an adverbial."
2. "/naDev/ is a noun, and you cannot say */naDevDaq/."

>Most of the time, this distinction isn't important. But we can be pretty
>sure that while /batlhHa'/ is perfectly valid, */naDevHa'/ is not.

but it's not necessarily true that an adverbial can take /-Ha/. so
it's _not_ a valid conclusion to say that /naDev/ isn't apriori an
adverbial because it cannot take /-Ha/.
