Spelling: ej' should be 'ej. Klingon words must start with a consonant.
> * Do you use {-'pu} the way I did to say that I have done something?
In this situation -pu' does work; just remember that -pu' and -ta' are not
past tense. They mean that it is completed, relative to the timestamp.
-pu' implies that it simply occurred, not necessarily intentionally.
-ta' implies that it was done intentionally.
cha'Hu' HoD vIHoH - Two days ago I killed the captain. Three days ago he
was still alive.
cha'Hu' HoD vIHoHta' - Two days ago I had already killed the captain. Maybe
I killed him three days ago. Maybe I killed him three years ago. I don't
say when I DID kill him, I only say that I killed him sometime before two
days ago.
-ta' and -pu' can even be used to refer to the future.
cha'leS HoD vIHoH - Two days from now I will kill the captain. One day from
now he will still be alive.
cha'leS HoD vIHoHta' - Two days from now I will have already killed the
captain. Maybe I will kill him one day from now. Maybe I killed him today.
Maybe I killed him last year. I do not say when I kill him; I only say that
two days from now you will find him already dead.

Except for the misspelling of 'ej this is good.
legh does work and is perfectly fine. You also have the option of bej -
watch.
ngagh 'e' vIqaw'be'.
be' Hev, 'ach ngaghQo'.
