HISlaH and HIja' are "yes" for answering a yes/no question.  It's not "yes"
in "yes, ok, sure, I agree"

lu' - yes, ok, sure
qar - yes, that's right

(I get qar from KGT p34, ending a sentence with qar'a' "right?".  Whether
you're answering his question or commenting on his statement, you could
start with qar "Yes, that statement is accurate, I agree, ...")

pagh is for connecting sentences.
ghap is for connecting nouns.

Which one to use here depends on is there one fragment sentence here, or two
fragment sentences?  It would work better if it were two.  But it still
brings up the question:  "... apples AND oranges OR grapes AND pears ..."
Sure, I would just write it with multiple sentences, but...
