[Bottom Line summary]

This started over grammar - It started because I objected to someone's
assertion that "you didn't change the rules of the game at will".

I initially argued (or meant to) that 1) Games have variations of
rules - there are certainly multiple versions of Poker, and one may
choose the rules,(the grammar), at each deal. 2) Any group of
language users may internalize "different" grammars, and as long as
the consensus is large enough they may communicate, however awkwardly.

None of this was to say grammar was unimportant - I prefer to say it
is useful, and reserve "important" for other things that really are
important, like love, family and faith. There is a grand silliness to
the whole game of the Klingon languages - it is *wonderful* fun. But
.... <sigh> .... it isn't "important".
