The Klingon word {lagh} referes to the rank of ensign, not an 
insignia.  One of the meanings of {Degh} is appropriate instead.  The 
verb {cha'} - show (on a screen) would be more precise than {'ang} 
here, although {'ang} is not wrong.

} (My mother saw that.)

} (She doesn't know the Federation sign.)

Consider if {ghuv} suits your meaning better than {Sov}.

maj.  You might be able to express the same idea more elegantly with 
other vocabulary, but I can't complain about this sentence.

{Qatlh} (watch spelling) means difficult, {tlhaQ} is the word for 
funny.
