I can say this, on the Mush some try very hard to greet mebbies and be
nice to them, others do not. Some simply continue their character, and
expect the mebbie to realize:
1) This is a MUSH site
2) The characters on the site are supposed to be Klingons
3) That one is to interact with others as if they are Klingons
Anyone who 'runs' from the site because of being confronted by a pile of
others all talking in tlhIngan would also run from a site by people all
talking in French/Chinese, etc.
One would also run from a site where everyone is carrying on with
unusual sexual practices if one was not into it.
If I started a web site called Shower Posse, one could expect that:
1) the users would all speak Jamaican patois
2) they would all act like Jamaican bad men
3) that anyone who was not interested in this would log off.
So do not condemn yourself or the mebbies for this is what it is.
