{-taH} is used sometimes with pronouns when saying where something (the
subject) is ({nuqDaq 'oHtaH . It may not be necessary when simply equating
the subject and predicate noun. And {nuq} can indeed be used as a
pronoun-verb, similar to {jIH}, {'oH}, etc.
