Well, sure. 'entepray' has three syllables no matter what the
phonological rules are - syllable count is mostly a phonetic feature.
I don't even know how you could pronounce "ente" as one syllable; its
not like Klingon has a silent e.
Where codas and onsets are involved, different languages might move
the syllable boundaries a little (e.g. en-te vs ent-e) , but there's
no way {'entepray'} has anything other than three syllables.
