{Qoch} probably doesn't take an object. It's defined as "disagree",
not "disagree with" as you're using it here. To say "I disagree with
you", recast it as "we disagree" (or simply "I disagree").

{ja'chuq} is explicitly explained as {ja'} + {-chuq}. The {-chuq}
suffix works only with "no object" verb prefixes. If you always
translate {ja'chuq} as "confer" you will never be misled by the other
meaning of the English word "discuss".
