I understand it to mean "stow, put away", but I can understand the
writer's uncertainty. Depending on context, I might translate it as
{tatlh} or {lelHa'}.

Try {ngaDmoH}. It's a farly literal translation of the actual word,
and could refer to either affixing something well to a backpack or to
putting it carefully in storage.
