Note: {jeS} is "participate" not "participate IN", so you'll need to use
{-Daq}. Also {qep} is "meeting", {qep'a'} is the grander
"conference". You don't want {-DI'} "as soon as, when" which is used more
for sequences, but either {-meH} "for, in order to" or even {-taHvIS}
"while, during". E.g.:
QulmeH qep'a'meyDaq vIjeSmeH, Huch nob qeSwI'wI'.
My advisor gives money (in order) for me to participate in research
conferences.
latlh qep'a'meyDaq vIjeSmeH, jIHvaD Huch nob pagh.
No one gives money to me (in order) for me to participate in other
conferences.
or if someone wires you the money while you're at the conference:
QulmeH qepmeyDaq vIjeStaHvIS, Huch nob qeSwI'wI'.
My advisor gives money while I'm participating in research conferences.
latlh qepmeyDaq vIjeStaHvIS, jIHvaD Huch nob pagh.
No one gives money to me while I'm participating in other conferences.
Some stylistic suggestions: 1) omit the optional plural suffix {-mey}
since it's not absolutely crucial to refer to multiple conferences (context
will determine if you're talking about a specific, single conference); and
2) use the "prefix trick" with {nob}:
QulmeH qep'a'Daq vIjeSmeH, Huch munob qeSwI'wI'.
My advisor gives me money to participate in research conferences.
My advisor gives me money to participate in a research conference.
latlh qep'a'Daq vIjeSmeH, Huch munob pagh.
No one gives me money to participate in other conferences.
No one gives me money to participate in another conference.
3) You can avoid the problem with {jeS} "participate" by using a verb of
motion (and dropping the {-Daq} by making the destination the direct object
of the verb):
QulmeH qep'a' vIlengmeH, Huch munob qeSwI'wI'.
latlh qep'a' vIlengmeH, Huch munob pagh.
4) Now that we've simplified the sentences, add {neH} "only, alone" again:
QulmeH qep'a' neH vIlengmeH, Huch munob qeSwI'wI'.
My advisor gives me money to travel to research conferences only.
or
QulmeH qep'a' vIlengmeH, Huch munob neH qeSwI'wI'.
My advisor only gives me money to travel to research conferences.
For a careful reader, using two {-meH}s in one sentence - both in a
"purpose noun" and in the purpose clause - shouldn't be confusing. (Well,
not too confusing!)
5) You might even want to work in a second "purpose noun" - *{lengmeH
Huch} "travel allowance" - which I'll leave as an exercise for you.
