DCKL translation problems: {luH}

Lieven L. Litaer (Quvar) ([email protected]) [KLI Member] [Hol ghojwI']

Greetings!

        Many people yell about the bad german translation of TKD (it is crap, indeed), but now I've
started to translate my own "Dictionary of Contemporary Klingon" into German. And I've noticed that
it's really not always easy to find out, which meaning is meant.
        That's why I'd like to discuss some words with you here. Several will be solved immediately,
others will never be, I'm sure -- I want to make a correct (as possible) and useful German DCKL, to
make it easier to learn klingon around here.
==============
To avoid confusion, I will do one thread per word, even though there are many.

{luH} is listed as "intestine"

When I looked up "intestine", there where two ways to translate to german
1- Darm - which is the 20 ft long pipe in your belly where the food is transported
or
2- Eingeweide - this is the summary of all the pieces that you can find inside your belly

Hm. I might be confused though, but I hope that some german lurker on this list could help me, or
perhaps the new HolQeD...

Quvar.
