Re: KLBC: Help

"Plus, a Klingon reading it would probably wonder why you wrote it. He
would expect something like simply [jISaHbe'], "I am not here"."

Yes, or {jIDach} which is even more concise. I just found it in TKD.

You're absolutely right when you pointed out that a Klingon probably
wouldn't say it the way I did. On the other hand I got a couple of pointers
to stuff I have to study (like verb, and noun suffixes).

"But I don't recognize the name; are you new here?"

Yes and no. When I started studying at a university in Sweden in 1999, I
moved to a domitory with a hardcore trekkie. We watched the movies and some
random episodes, and I was really hooked by the Klingons and their language.
This made me join the list and I lurked around for about half a year, but
then I left. Now I've just begun wathing Enterprise, and TNG, and my
curiosity is once again awakened. This time I've bought TKD, KGT and the
cassettes (which haven't arived yet), and I'm intending to try to learn the
language.

Thanks a lot for your help. I will hopefully bother you a lot more in the
future. (^_-)
