Publicity

I did an interview with a news subscription service last week. These are
the people who provide "hot" topics for local area shows to consider. The
interview ran this morning, and the phone has been ringing all day, mostly
with radio stations wanting me to chat live on the air with their morning
drive time DJs.

I hate morning drive time DJs (well, I hate most of them). I'll probably
pass on most of them (though I will be on the air tonight in Indianapolis,
IN (station WIBC) at about 6:35pm. I have no idea what they'll ask me, but
it shouldn't be too bad.

Interviews I probably won't give (partly because I just don't have the
time) include: Ft. Wayne, IN; Cincinnati, OH (WEBN); Wooster, MA (WTAG?);
Calgary, Canada (CHQR); Colorado Springs, CO (KILO). If you're in the area
of one of these and want to do the interview, contact me by email and maybe
we can set it up.

So far only one television show expressed interest, Philly After Midnight
(which is quite conveniently produced less than ten miles away from my
home). Unfortunately, they sounded very disappointed to learn that I don't
have a Klingon uniform and would be inclined to come on the show looking
more like a Human professor than a Klingon warrior. If anyone in the area
wants to drive up for a day to appear with me, decked out HIp Quch je let
me know and I'll try and sell them on the idea. It would probably happen
next week.
