buv is also a noun.
"Only the classifications of [child], [be adult], and [elder] are
important."

> Today is my birthday.
> In order that I observe this important event,

These two lines I quoted from someone else.

> I refuse to celebrate birthday(s).
> The first reason: I lack definite friends and
> I have friends, but I lack definite friends here.

I wrote:
meq wa'DIch: juppu'na' vIHutlh je. juppu' vIghaj, 'ach naDev juppu'na'
vIHutlh.

Notice the . (period) after the je ; plus je connects nouns not sentences.
So in this case je means also. The person I quoted said he lacked TRUE
friends. I replyed that I lack TRUE friends also. I have friends, but...
(actually I have true friends, but they are not here, which is why I
included [naDev] in my sentence.)

> The second reason: people create calendars.

This translation is technically correct; I was thinking "Calendars were made
by people", "They are manmade"

> What does it represent?

> When happens - "coordinates": Earth orbits our sun

"The earth's coordinates while orbiting our sun when my birthday occurs
resembles the earth's coordinates while orbiting our sun when I was born."

Not exactly a beginners' sentence.

> It merely represents: the earth orbits the sun X-times.
> It merely classifies: a child, maturity, and an elder are important.

(see correction above)

> I planned to meet two friends in a bar.

This was another line quoted from the original message.

> If I observe the birthday I refuse to approach the bar.

"approach", altho technically accurate, doesn't sound very smooth.
ghoS has a broader definition than that.
"...I won't go to a bar."

> I refuse to drink alcohol.
> "While he is being drunk a warrior is not ready to fight."

You did very well.
