While I'm hesitant to make assumptions about rituals, I'd 
think {lop} was a bad choice, unless the death implies a 
positive career move on the part of the celebrant. I'd tend 
more towards something like {nolvaD jeS}, etc.

Definitely. Okrand has explicitly said so.

chaq. Meanwhile, I think this would refer to the 
translation and not the presentation of the speech. For 
that, I'd use {jatlh}.
