Sentence conjunctions like <'ej> go between the sentences:
QublaH 'ej jatlhlaH.
> 'ach luSovbe' ghotpu' jubbe'.
This is "But mortal people didn't know it.". It's fairly clear what the "it"
refers to, but you might want to make it explicit:
'ach ngoDvam luSovbe' ghotpu' jubbe'.
> Hov lubav yuQmey.

This is the perfect place for the verb <Dab> - "dwell in/at, reside in/at".
I often think of it as "inhabit".
wa' yuQ luDab ghotpu' Ha'DIbaHmey je.

<bejtaHbogh> would probably be interpreted to mean just plain "watching"
rather than "watching her" - at least that's how I read it. You might want
to say <ghaH bejtaHbogh je Ha'DIbaH legh>.

The <'ej> goes between the verbs.
