betleH neH qellaw' <jIrmoH>. chaq latlh qellaH <jIr>, 'ach jISovbejbe'.
= It looks like {jIrmoH} applies only to {betleH}. {jIr} might have
wider scope, but I'm not sure.
[The paragraph in KGT on pages 59-60 starts with a comment that there
is a set of words specifically for using a {betleH}, and {jIrmoH} is
one of the words listed there.]
><DIng> mu' vIlIj. KGT vIlaDmo' <jIr> mu' vIqaw.
>=I had forgetten the word <Ding>. I remember <jIr> because of reading KGT.
jIQummeH tlhIngan mu' wa'DIch vIjatlhbogh 'oH <DIng>'e'. not 'oH vIlIj.
= {DIng} is the first Klingon word I spoke in conversation. I won't
ever forget it.
