I will make one general comment, though. The word <jan> does not
*specifically* mean "musical instrument". It is a general word meaning
"device", and <QoQ jan> is the specific term for a musical instrument. See
KGT page 74 for more. It says in particular that <QoQ jan> is seldom
shortened to just <jan>.
