While you are probably the one group I DON'T need to explain
this to, just today I found a way to explain it to others:
Do you ever sing?
Do you ever write songs?
Do you even write poems?
Why?
Well, speaking Klingon, to me, is very similar to writing a
poem, especially a formal poem where someone else prescribes the
form and I must find a way to pack my meaning into it, heart and
soul as well as thought.
Often, the finished meaning is more beautifully expressed than I
could have expressed it in mere prose.
