I have a similar project I'm working on, also involving Monopoly, that I
*hope* to have done in time for the qep'a'. However, my version is not
strictly about conquest; it is entitled {batlh} and involves the
acquisition of honor. In {batlh}, properties become warships, money is
honor {batlh DeQmey}, taxes are loyalty checks, "Community Chest"
becomes {naDmey} (and {naDHa'ghachmey}!), houses and hotels are Marine
boarding parties and companies, and so on.

The players are vying for the Throne, and instead of buying property
they attract the loyalty of warships and planetary systems by "honoring"
them ("spending" honor credits - theoretically through promotions,
awards, choice assignments, and bribery), then are honored in return
(the "rent") by passing opponents.

When finished, the rules, board, deeds and cards will be completely in
Klingon, with appropriate Micromachines as tokens and newly designed
and printed {batlh DeQmey} for "keeping score".
