{jIQapta'} is "I have succeeded," rather than "I have been working." For
that, say {jIvumtaH}.
Also, since practicing or not practicing Klingon is a continuous process,
instead of {-pu'} you should use {-taH}.
jIvumtaH vaj tlhIngan Hol vIqeqlaHbe'taH.

'ej DaH jIghIQchoH.
And now I go on a vacation.
{DaH QI'lop jIH} means "Now I am {QI'lop}," whatever that means.

When you're talking about a timestamp, the name of a particular time that an
action occurs (but not a duration), you don't need to say {qaSDI'} (though you
can, and you did yours properly). You just say the time.
*October* jIchegh 'ej jIghojqa'.

You've used a double-negative here, which doesn't belong. You've also
misordered the sentence.
not HurghchoHjaj batlhlIj!
May your honor never grow dim!
