Hello. I am currently writing a small Englush - Klingon, Klingon - English,
dictionary (for my own use only) and was wondering about a few things.
(1) could one say {qaqipchuq} in the sense "I and you hit each other"?
Or would I have to say {maqipchuq} "We hit each other", or maybe even
{soH maqipchuq jiH} meaning something like "I and you, we hit each
other"?
(2) When I whant to express something like "I see us" is {maH jIlegh} the
correct useage? Or should I use another verb prefix/pronoun?
(3) Does it matter where in a sentence a noun appears if it is modified
with type 5 noun suffix (exept -'e' of course). Must it be in a
special position (i.e. before or after the object-verb-subject
construction)?
(4) How do I prounce a double glottal stop? I mean IS there a way, or any
special way to pronouce it? Could one tell these to sentences apart,
if someone said one of them? Just wondering.
{nupaw'a' Duj} Has the ship arrived?
{nupaw''a' Duj} Has the ship collided?
These are my questions for now.
