I thought we had a definition out there already.
Canon is anything told to us by (or approved by) Marc Okrand, so far as
tlhIngan Hol is concerned (and nothing else). There was a debate on this a
while ago regarding "canonical Klingon" vs. "canonical tlhIngan Hol";
you'll find it in the archives.
