thank you for your vote of confidence in my search for answers. It seems
there's a plethora of opinions. I welcome them all. Does anyone know who
perchance created the artform we see Worf perform for DS9 adn ST:TNG?
as far as discussions of form are concerned, the actual weapons defense
tactics "remind me" of fencing, in that no real attacks are staged, and
the main objective is to stave off your opponent. I could be completely
off on this, but this is what I recall. Of course, Klingons don't tie
themselves up to a rope and fight with a foil, but you get my drift.
as for the martial art itself, I'd also agree with the refernce to TAi
Chi Ch'uan, but i wonder if it has any basis in Tae Kwon Do?
