I don't think I'd use the {SoH} in this situation. I'd just shout {QetlhIS!}
Let's reword the greeting thing another way. Klingons don't say meaningless
words or pointless words when encountering another. They say whatever is
appropriate. To get someone's attention, as David Barron pointed out, shout
{yIqIm!} To find out what that Klingon is doing in your shop, you say
{nuqneH?} To stand agape at the return of an old friend, you say nothing; you
stand there in amazement. Well, okay, you might say {toH!}
