It also matches the {qajatlh} "I speak to you" pattern. It might not
be exactly according to the first rules of grammar laid down in TKD,
but I don't think there's any reason for complaint.

I hate to sully such a tender (and risky) scene with criticism, but
{ghaj} is a disappointingly weak verb to end with. What do you think
about {'agh} or {tob}?
