In short words: A bookmarklet/favelet is a short piece of JavaScript that
can be called like a bookmark/favorite(hence the name) and then work with
the current page.
It can be used to create links in the page, to provide translations or such.
Some are used to change the look of sites - replace colors and such.
(Probably because older browsers wouldn´t allow users to override the page
settings.)
