Hi Shamammd,

I'm also a new Klingonist. I am practicing Klingon by translating
words for the localization of Klingon into OpenOffice.org (called OOo
for short). If you want to participate, too, please feel free. It is
a good way to get accustomed to typing the Klingon words, and
repetition and usage is the key to learning a new language, IMHO,
which is one of the reasons that we are doing this localization
project. OOo will let you write letters, memos, charts, spreadsheets,
powerpoint-like presentations, graphics, etc. all in romanized
Klingon! I am not aware that any such thing currently exists.

Localizing OOo will permit Klingonists to share advanced, colorful,
professional office suite documents across the globe. OOo is
currently used by 35 million people, and has been localized to more
languages than any other office suite, including Microsoft Office.

The project is pretty easy. For those who want to get involved on this
level, there are plenty of strictly data entry tasks to be done.
There are also much more complicated translation and computer issues
to be handled, so you can pick from a wide variety if you are
interested. The link for our website is below. We will not sell your
email, address, of course. For the time being, the web site is
private, and by invitation only, and members must be approved.
Generally, we approve people who express an interest in translating
Klingon because, of course, that is what we are all about.

So if you are interested in joinging, registration is free. Either
way, thank you for considering this request.
