It's important not to rely on secondary sources. KGT explains the usage
of {per yuD} as "code name" usually referring to a military operation.
KGT page 48:
Code names are the equivalent of Federation locutions such as
"Operation Coughar" and are therefore often translated in that
pattern: {targh Qu'} ("Operation Targ"), {lung Qu'} "Operation
Dragon"; a {lung} is not really a dragon, but that is a close
approximation), {'aqtu' Qu'} ("Operation Aktuh").

Hamlet should not be taken as authoritative. There's some speculative
grammar in it that we now know is incorrect, and there are more than a
couple of "invented" terms like {lomqa'} that don't appear in any of
the dictionaries.
