literal translation, but until Okrand gives us WHEEL I'm kind of stuck
for a way to describe the emergency landing gear handle without
cheating or writing a paragraph. "landing gear" works in English
because it's the established way to refer to the wheels and the struts
that they lower from the aircraft on. But 'landing equipment' means
the same thing and could as easily refer to flaps, runway lighting,
indeed anything on the landing checklist.]

Not by any means. :) Just part of my attempt to cram the essentials
of the story into as few words as possible, with maximum implications.
Ack, this is long and it's mostly Klingon, but it isn't crammed with
references to things that happened at qep'a'. It's also a little
redundant because I over answered things. If you have no trouble with
word order and understand suffixes and prefixes thoroughly you should
be able to follow it. Just find all the parts of a sentence and
figure out what means what. I've interspersed a few explanations.
