Mmm, I realize I forgot to state straight out in response to edy's
posting that in general his ideas for putting noun suffixes on
questions words sit fine with me. The problems were more in what
specifically he wanted his examples to mean.

Not you, Seqram quv. I think you sat that one out. I may have
misremembered exactly how it was that I had my ridges slapped for
using 'Iv in a noun-noun. Maybe it was the other way around: {targh
nuq DaSopqang?!}. It was THEM!(*) (Qov points vaguely off in the
direction of all those mean people.)
* I hate English sometimes. I know perfectly well that "It was
they" fits the rules, but no one ever says it. You'd say "It was I"
if you were careful, and always "It was who?" Maybe "It was he" if
you were being dramatic, but who ever says "It was they"? I think
I'll save this one to throw at people who complain about
inconsistencies between rules and usage in Klingon canon.
