Ok, I'll take a shot at this. The way I understand it, the feet
themselves (the noun being possessed) are not capable of using language,
which is why I used *-lIj*. 
On page 30, there is the following phrase:

qamDu'wIjDaq

at my feet

Here the suffix *-wIj* is used, which is the normal suffix meaning my,
and hence my phrase...
