The word is: we're trying.
David Barron alerted me to this project at Paramount several months ago. We
knew about it even before Okrand did. I'm pleased to say that Marc Okrand *is*
now onboard this project, so we can expect more quality Klingon.
Last March I spoke with one of the authors of the script that will be used. He
expressed real concern that the Klingon be done properly. I have spoken on
several occasions with one of the Producers of the project, and she also seems
genuine in her intent to do it up right.
I have also attempted to get the KLI involved via official Paramount channels.
Faxes have been sent and circulated. Right now we just get to sit and wait for
a bit.
More news as it happens.
