[Tlhingan-hol] Klingon homonyms

David Holt ([email protected])

I want to come up with some homonyms for a lesson I'm working on.  The idea is to give the students one or two words they must include in their sentences, but allow them to determine which meaning they want to use.  Can you think of any syllables with high counts of possible use/meaning?  Suffixes and slang are acceptable.

For Example:
taH can be "to continue/endure", "to be at a negative angle", "v7 continuous".
jIH can be "I/me", "I am", "to monitor", "a viewing screen".
bach can be "to shoot", "a shot", and occurs in bachHa' "to err (slang)".

What other ones can you think of?
