ghItlhpu' De'vID, jatlh:
> So Internode (an ISP in Australia) is running a "Klingon"-themed

> promo. The promo web page itself is disappointing, as the "Klingon"
> sentence is actually an English one, disguised by a font:
>
> However, they are also running radio and TV spots, which features real Klingon!
>
> Direct links:
> TV - http://www.impress.com.au/images/stories/videos/Internode_Klingon_TV_commercial.mp4
> radio - http://www.impress.com.au/images/stories/audio/Internode_Klingon_radio_ad.MP3
>
> The pronunciation is spotty in places, but the sentences appear to be
> grammatical!

I understood pretty much all of it and was impressed by the pronunciation.

> Was anyone here involved? (QeS 'utlh? That's in your corner of the world.)

'Tis indeed, but sadly, no, I was not involved. I do want to know who was, though, since to the best of my knowledge I'm the only even mildly active speaker in the country. It'd be great to have someone else local as a conversation partner; building a speaker community from a base of one is an uphill battle. (As well - and I mean no insult or offence to anyone on the list by saying this - I confess I'm very frustrated that Klingon-language things in Australia, of which several have now been done, usually only make it to me from overseas and second- or third-hand. Sorry, just needed to vent my spleen on that, or whatever the Klingon equivalent is.)

Unless someone on the list comes forward to claim responsibility, then I might chuck Internode an email to see who did the Hol in the video. 'aSralya' jatlhwI'pu', petay''eghchoHmoH!

QeS
