Could we set up a new mailing list, like a Google Group? Put that on the "under construction" front page and set up an autoreply from a <a href="http://kli.org";>kli.org</a> email address that emails anyone who posts to the old list, informing them of the new (just in case they miss the transition emails). At this point I suggest a dated announcement on the main site page assuring people that the KLI is still in existence, that the site is under reconstruction, and giving an e-mail address--I still monitor [email protected] all these years and would be delighted to get something that wasn't spam, for people who need assistance.<br>

I'm working on it, I'm working on it. Infrastructure issues (I've been<br>
trying to use a provided solution that has great features but<br>
documentation that ranges from incomplete to obsolete) and lack of<br>
direct access to the original site's innards have kept me from being<br>
done with the site proper already.<br>

(Migrating the mailing list is another thing entirely. I lack the<br>
resources and/or administrative access to do it myself.)<br>
