<div dir="ltr">I pretty much ignore these stories and the resulting comments now. For one thing, the author almost never gets the details of the story right. And they nearly never try to contact me to ask me about it (I'm pretty easy to find). But most importantly, Alec is a great kid (just starting his 2nd year of college, if you can believe it!), and we have a great relationship. It's just lazy storytelling designed to create a reaction from their readers, which they succeed at. Why should they care whether they get the story right or hurt anyone in the process?</div>
