Yes, Klingon is very verb-based, but we all know that there is no tense in Klingon and we can use time stamps also in the past. I believe that is correct to use {tugh} in the past like

{wa' ben QIn vIHevpu' 'ej tugh jIjangta'}
"I got a message one year ago and I answered soon."

Any objections?
