I have the annotation "(actively) work for (KGT)" in my notes for {baj}. (I don't have KGT with me; is this the entry in the end glossary?) {baj} in canon:

I think *{[Huch] bajwI'} would probably be a good translation for "employee, wage earner" as opposed to {toy'} "serve" [i.e. work for someone/something]:
